Communication Manager PBox6220 Series

Overview

The Communication Manager is the core communication hub for substations, renewable energy plants, and industrial sites. The Lingqi PBox6220 Series integrates protocol conversion, data aggregation, and edge computing into a single device, supporting bidirectional translation of IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, Modbus, MQTT, DLT645, and 400+ industrial protocols. Each unit manages up to 500 terminal nodes with data acquisition cycles as low as 100ms.

Built on high-performance ARM processors ranging from 4-core to 32-core configurations, the PBox series scales from distributed PV sites to large substations. Redundant dual-network and dual-machine hot standby designs deliver 99.99% communication availability. The embedded edge computing engine supports local logic processing, alarm correlation, and data preprocessing — maintaining autonomous operation even when disconnected from the central network. Typical deployments include 110kV/35kV substation data concentration, PV inverter and combiner box data acquisition, wind farm SCADA integration, and railway PSCADA systems.
